Liability Waiver

Updated as of 2022 

As you know, we will have young farm animals join our sessions/events and although they may be harmless in nature, we cannot be held responsible if one decides to peck, nibble, kick or bite. We have never had any issues in the past and we will do our best to prevent it. This is just a precaution. 

 Safety First 

 Due to the safety of our animals and children: Infants, toddlers and/or children whom are unable to follow instruction will not be permitted to handle animals directly. This is because they do not understand the proper technique in which these animals need to be safely handled. Infants and toddlers unknowingly squeeze, hold upside down and/or put baby animals in their mouth, handling them like toys. The result of these actions could end up in sickness of your child and/or possible injuries/death of the animals. Therefore, we must prevent these circumstances at all costs. That being said, with guidance from the owners, photographer/event coordinator and parents the younger children may enjoy their experience by petting the animals with supervision. Animals may be placed in laps (pending age appropriate children and to the farm owner/photographers/event coordinators discretion), in baskets or run freely on set (animals will be placed accordingly). Hand sanitizer is strongly recommended after your session. 

 

By this Waiver, client assumes any risk, and takes full responsibility and waives any claims of personal injury, death or damage to personal property associated with and/or activities and events organized by Pretty Hippies Farm/Brittany Jackson. 

 

I understand and confirm that by agreeing to this WAIVER AND RELEASE I have given up considerable future legal rights. I have read this Agreement freely, voluntarily, under no duress. My booking is proof of my intention to execute a complete and unconditional WAIVER AND RELEASE of all liability to the full extent of the law.
